Why record diggers trust us

01

Seller rating on Discogs

★★★★★ 99.8% positive with 603 ratings since 2017 and thousands of records sold globally. https://www.discogs.com/seller/Wiley_Records/profile

02

Graded honestly

Every record is play-graded or visually graded to the Goldmine standard. The grade describes the exact copy you receive and additional notes help to decide.

03

Fast and secure shipping

Records are removed from their outer sleeves and placed in new PE sleeves to help prevent seam splits. We use only purpose built mailers for shipping

How we grade records

Media and sleeve are graded separately, so a listing like NM / VG+ means a Near Mint record in a Very Good Plus sleeve. Grading always describes the individual copy on sale .

Grade Meaning
MMint — perfect, unplayed
NMNear Mint — nearly perfect, minimal signs of handling
VG+Very Good Plus — light wear, plays beautifully
VGVery Good — visible wear, light surface noise possible
G+Good Plus — significant wear, plays through without skips
GGood — heavy wear, priced accordingly
FFair — plays with noise, filler copy
PPoor — damaged, for completists only

Unsure about a specific copy? Ask before you buy and we happily send extra photos or drop the needle on request.

How records are packed

Records are removed from their outer sleeves before shipping and placed in protective polyethylene sleeves to help prevent seam splits. Orders are packed in durable mailers designed specifically for LPs, singles and 10-inch records.

Box sets, 78 RPM shellac and high-value records get additional stiffeners and double boxing where needed. Larger orders are packed together with extra bubble wrapping.

Customs, duties and taxes

International orders may be subject to local import duties, taxes and handling fees. These charges are determined by the destination country and are not included in our prices unless stated at checkout.

Frequently asked questions

Do you combine shipping on multiple records?

Yes absolutely, we ship with flat rate shipping so the price is same even if you order only one record or gazillion!

Will I have to pay customs charges?

Orders within the EU have no customs charges. Elsewhere, import duties and taxes may be charged by your country.

How accurate is your grading?

We grade to the Goldmine standard, media and sleeve separately. Anything a grade can't capture goes in the seller's note. If a record arrives not matching its description, contact us and we will sort it out every time. We try to evaluate the coditions very critically and our feedback has been only positive regarding it.

Is the cover photo the exact copy I'm buying?

Where the photo comes from the Discogs database it shows the pressing, not necessarily the copy. Condition is described by the grades and in the notes. Listings with our own photos show the exact copy. Like signed or very special items. We are always happy to send photos of the actual records.
